We are specialized in the design and manufacture of hydraulic presses as well as the improvement, adjustment and/or repair of old machinery, process automation, retrofitting of disused machinery and manufacturing all kinds of accessories such as load tables, feeders dispensers…
Our manufacturing processes cover assemblies ranging from simple presses to complete turnkey facilities.
We have a highly qualified Technical Service specialized in machinery preventive and corrective maintenance. This maintenance guarantees that the machinery would be 100 % operational.
At our factory, we also have a pressing division with several hydraulic presses with different features that allow us to perform all kinds of tests and trials. In addition, we are capable to perform press jobs of straightening and deforming materials.
Over 90 years in the industry with a production of more than 2.000 fully operational presses support us.
From small laboratory presses to large ones with plates of 16 meters, with powers that go from 5Tn to powerful facilities with more than 10.000 tons of force, hot presses, cold and even refrigeration.

Cortázar was born in 1925 as a family company dedicated to the design of machinery and equipment. We have developed our own technology based on continuous improvement of quality and design, always seeking for the optimization of production processes and growing over the years into a worldwide leader in the development and manufacture of machinery.
